    1. Groups of 10 or more, (Group admission is NTD$320 per person, plus a rental fee of NTD$30 for NPM's audio tour system.)
    2. Please note that all purchasers of group tickets must use the NPM group audio tour system.
    Discount Ticket NT $150
    1. R.O.C. citizens with a valid identification document (the same rule applies for visitors visiting in groups)
    2. Students with valid international student ID (ISIC,international student identity card)
    3. Individual holding an alien permanent resident certificate

    1. Visitors (of all nationalities) aged 17 and under
    2. R.O.C. citizens who are seniors aged 65 and above.

    5. Members of the American Alliance of Museums and/or the International Council of Museums.
    6. Members of the Taiwan Museum Association, ROC(TMA) showing their membership cards.
    7. Volunteers presenting their Honorary Volunteer Service Cards issued by an approved Taiwanese institution.

    * There are five free entrance days for this museum: New Year's Day (Jan. 1), the Lantern Festival, International Museum Day (May 18), World Tourism Day (Sept. 27) and National Day (Oct. 10).

    1. Visitors holding a ticket stub (paper or digital) for the From Impressionism to Early Modernism exhibition are eligible for a 20% discount on Exhibition Hall 1’s regular ticket, group ticket, or discount ticket.
    2. Visitors holding a valid ticket (paper or digital) for Exhibition Hall 1 may purchase a concession ticket for the From Impressionism to Early Modernism exhibition on site at NT$450.
      For visitors holding a free ticket (NT$0) for Exhibition Hall 1, their eligibility for discounted or free admission to the From Impressionism to Early Modernism exhibition is outlined below:
      (1)Discount ticket (senior/disability concession): NT$250
          ◆ For visitors aged 65 and above (born in or before 1960), with valid ID. One ticket per ID.
      (2)Free admission:
          ◆ Children aged under 6 (born on or after January 1, 2020) may enter for free with valid ID. Must be accompanied by a paying adult.
          ◆ Individuals with disability ID cards (domestic or international) and one accompanying person (entering together) are eligible for free admission with valid ID.

  • The Taiwan Alliance of Museums Discount

    By presenting the ticket stub or membership card of any one of the following museums (i.e., National Museum of Marine Science & Technology, National Taiwan Science Education Center, National Taiwan Museum, National Museum of History, National Museum of Taiwan History, National Museum of Natural Science, National Science and Technology Museum, and National Museum of Prehistory), visitors can purchase National Palace Museum Northern Branch Exhibition Hall I and Southern Branch tickets at a 20% discount. Please note that the ticket stub and membership card must be from the same year.

  • Free entrance days

    The National Palace Museum Northern Branch Exhibition Hall I and Southern Branch offer free admission on the following days: New Year's Day (Jan. 1), the Lantern Festival, International Museum Day (May 18), World Tourism Day (Sept. 27) and National Day (Oct. 10).

  • Admission Ticket Ticket-Return Information
    1. Unused tickets may be returned for full refunds; no processing fees will be charged.
    2. Used tickets cannot be returned for refunds.
    3. Lost, damaged, burned, and/or unrecognizable tickets cannot be reissued and/or returned to be exchanged.
